Frequently Asked Questions
We answer some of your FAQ’s here. Should you have any others, please reach out and let us know so we can include them!
Commissions
I often do commissions that become family heirlooms, including personal, treasured objects. I do need clear, good quality photographs that show all the details as my work is very realistic.
From the initial sketches to the final painting, it would take approximately 2 months, depending on size and complexity of the work.
Contact me through the email contact section on my website. In the initial stages, we discuss what you want in your commissioned painting; sizes and prices are quoted at this stage. I then do a couple of sketches to give an idea of what the final painting would be like.
After you have agreed on the final sketch, a 25% deposit is required before I start work on the painting. I use Pack and Send for shipping and will get a quote for you. Final payment, including shipping cost, is required before I send the artwork.
Giclée Prints
We mail prints within New Zealand for free and we can provide a shipping quote for international orders. Please use the contact icon on the print you’re interested in or use our contact form.
Please note that international orders do not include import duties or taxes, which are payable by the purchaser if required on arrival.
No, our prints do not come framed due to the cost and fragile nature involved with shipping. This will also allow you to choose your own frame and glass to your suiting.
Yes, all prints have a 4cm white border around them, which is included in the measurements given on each print.
We will carefully roll the print and place it inside of a travel tube for safe delivery.
For shipping within New Zealand, please allow approximately two weeks. International shipping times can vary depending on the country and courier, but we would expect you to receive your print within a month. If you have not, please contact us so we can look into it for you.
Lessons
I don’t do private lessons, but will sometimes take a group workshop, depending on how busy my schedule is and the location.
